I love eating like anyone else, and I have my moments where I lay in a food coma. I don’t feel bad about it because I usually don’t eat like that, and I work out 4 to 5 times a week. I try to consciously keep track of what I eat at all times. Keeping that in mind helps with what I eat, and how much of it.
Have your days where you eat whatever you want, I’m not really here to preach about don’t eat this and that. I think a person would go crazy if they didn’t have days where they throw everything out the window and indulge in what they crave. I know I wouldn’t be able to do it. Think of it like it’s a reward for keeping on the right track that week. Of course I’d suggest picking a day out of the week and make that your cheat day. Otherwise you wouldn’t have a clear goal, and may end up slipping because you didn’t have it structured properly. For instance, have your cheat day on Saturday. Then make sure you stay true to your plan, don’t let yourself get tempted those other days. It can be hard, but you have to really try if you want to reach your goal.
Over time, this becomes more of a habit and you wouldn’t have to give it much thought. Till then just try to stay consistent.
